I know this may come as a shock to some people, okay maybe everyone, but sometimes Noah doesn't want to eat.  It doesn't happen often but when it does, I usually incorporate sound affects into meal time to get him to take a bite.  Noah's favorite sound is a loud chawing, chomping sound.  He looks at the bite of food in front of him and attacks it.  Sooo, now most of the time when he eats, he makes the chaw sound effect to go with it.  For example, right now he is munching on some fruit loops.  Everytime he puts one his mouth he makes the chaw sound.

Earlier, I was showing his some vintage Sesame Street on YouTube.  I played the C is for Cookie song featuring Cookie Monster.  Of course, Noah loved it.  He kept saying, "Mmmm..."  Then he would say, "EAT IT!" and make the chaw sound...Over and over again.

"EAT IT!  CHAW!"
